• Forgemaster’s PLA Silk has a very sleek finish. Its surface gives a silk luster that looks smooth and pearly. It has a unique feel. Finished 3D Printed items from our PLA Silk have a glossy smooth appearance, perfect for arts, crafts, DIY, and other 3D print projects.
• Our PLA Silk is a print easy solution. It has excellent layer bonding strength for stronger prints. Good shaping, no bubble, no edge warping, consistent feeding, stable print, no clogging, eco-friendly, ideal for indoor printing.
• With a 1.75mm tight diameter tolerance, our PLA Silk filament is compatible with most FDM 3D Printers on the market including but not limited to the BestGee, Ultimaker, RepRap derivatives, MakerBot, Makergear, Prusa i3, Monoprice Maker Select and more.
• Temperature recommendations for printing are typical conditions and should be 50-60°C for bed and 200°C at the nozzle. Also, to minimize entanglement, reinsert filament into spool holes prior to each print.
•  Forgemaster utilizes quality packaging for its filament products. As part of our packaging process, we allow a complete drying time of 24 hours before vacuum aluminum foil packaging each spool.
